FEATURED COATING

VALSPAR R–CURE®

For smooth coating, better coverage, faster throughput and harder, more durable surfaces, customers worldwide are upgrading to R–Cure®. R–Cure® is a two-component, reactive-cure process and an electronic-proportioning system that can eliminate a significant amount of labor, energy and waste from your painting process. R–Cure® lays down thinner films, uses higher quality paints and requires less—and sometimes no—post-cure heat.

AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT COATINGS

For our major agricultural customers, Valspar customizes coatings for the precise performance requirements and application conditions each product will be exposed to. If equipment will be operating in contact with corrosive chemicals in one location and salt spray in another, we have the expertise to deliver materials that are optimized for each application and operating environment down to the molecular level, if need be.

We focus on the total life cycle of your equipment—starting with world-class appearance on the showroom floor, continuing with exceptional performance while the equipment is in service and tying it all together with high-end maintenance products for your repair and refurbishing needs. This total-life-cycle commitment ensures maximum performance of your investment, and maximum resale value of your premium equipment.

Komatsu performance of the year

Valspar was recently awarded the Komatsu Global Procurement Performance Of The Year award during the 2010 supplier meeting held at Komatsu's North American headquarters in Chicago, IL. This annual award is given to the supplier that shows commitment and support for Komatsu's organizational goals, with the recipient selected by a cross-functional team of Komatsu's procurement, management and manufacturing operations.

The award was given to Valspar for its focus on developing better long-term weathering capabilities for the coatings used by the Komatsu manufacturing operations in Chattanooga, TN, and Newberry, SC, as well as the support Valspar provides for implementing new product formulations. Valspar's success at Komatsu is a result of a coordinated team effort, including account management, R&D and application engineering personnel.
