Valspar Connects with Agricultural Community at Tradeshow
Attendees at CNH Industrial EXPO learn about our competitive advantage
Valspar introduced new products and talked with customers and prospects at the CNH Industrial Parts and Service Expo Feb. 1-6 in Nashville, Tennessee. We showcased our paint product lineup that helps protect agricultural equipment and keeps it looking like new.
More than 2,000 farm equipment dealers, parts managers and service managers representing New Holland, Case and International Harvester dealerships attended the event at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. Valspar was one of 13 Gold Sponsors among the 130 exhibitors.
At the event, Valspar launched new chemical products for polishing, detailing and lubricating equipment, and highlighted newly rebranded labeling for aerosol, gallon and quart cans.
"A dealer expo like this provides us with an invaluable opportunity to connect directly with the network that uses and sells our products on a daily basis," said Forrest Hallstrom, Valspar Aftermarket business manager, who estimates that about 900 attendees visited Valspar's booth. "We drew substantial traffic through our newly updated booth, and although support for our existing paint and chemical product line is overwhelmingly positive, we value the opportunity to get feedback regarding areas for growth and improvement directly from this knowledgeable customer group."
To help engage attendees, Valspar featured comparisons between our products and our competitors', demonstrating our stronger performance in corrosion testing, UV testing and color matching. In addition, Forrest led a "Painting 101: Tips & Tricks" breakout session for attendees.
Forrest deemed the event a big success. In addition to significant onsite product sales, dozens of dealers committed to placing orders in the coming weeks and months. In addition, more than 300 attendees completed surveys on their paint usage, giving Valspar valuable insight for future marketing activities.
